A small, calculator-only MuslimFin app that performs calculations locally without accounts, saved calculation history or behavioural tracking.

Inheritance tax-worksheet entries are temporary too. Entries are held only in the open calculator screen and are not sent to a calculation API. Leaving the screen, refreshing the web page, or closing the app clears them. A hosted web page still requires ordinary network access to load. If you choose Share Results, you first review the exact summary, then choose its destination in the device share sheet. A summary you send or copy is controlled by its destination, not by the calculator. The app does not create report history, backups or recovery copies.
The optional Tazkiya Takaful quote button opens a separate online form. The calculator does not attach estate values, family details or results to that link. Information you choose to enter in the external form is handled separately; review its privacy information before submitting it.

What the calculations can—and cannot—do

Inheritance
A supported Faraid scenario, not a will or distribution instruction. Unsettled ownership, unlisted heirs, grandparents, certain sibling cases and unresolved remainders are held for review.
Civil and tax matters
An optional Results worksheet can illustrate estate duty and the prescribed executor tariff from separately assessed figures and assumptions you enter. Neither tax nor fee asset base is inferred from the Faraid assets. The app does not determine matrimonial ownership, actual tax or fees, disputed claims, beneficiary validity or estate-administration requirements.
Zakah
An educational 2.5% monetary estimate for the supported inputs. Jewellery, investments, retirement arrangements, trusts, farming and debt treatment can depend on qualified guidance.

References and freshness

The inheritance calculation body was ported from an earlier MuslimFin website implementation exported 10 September 2026. The supported core references are Qur’an 4:11, 4:12 and 4:176. MuslimFin's director has confirmed review and approval of the calculator.
The Zakah calculator does not bundle or retrieve metal prices. You must enter both prices, the valuation date and the source used for your assessment. The app flags a dated reference older than seven days but does not decide whether it is appropriate for a historical assessment.
